This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions under which customers (“you”, “your”) may request a return or refund for purchases made on www.therightshade.in (“Website”).

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.


1. Non-Returnable Products (Towels & Customized Items)

Due to hygiene and customization considerations, the following products are non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Bath Towels and other hygiene-related products

  • Customized, personalized, or made-to-order items

This policy is in place to ensure the personal safety and satisfaction of all our customers. Once delivered, these products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects or shipping damage (see Section 3).


2. Return Eligibility (For Non-Hygiene, Non-Custom Products)

Returns for other eligible items are accepted under the following strict conditions:

  • Return requests must be submitted within 5 (five) calendar days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition, with packaging and labels intact.

  • Returns that do not meet these conditions will be declined and returned to sender.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not as ordered:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with your Order ID and clear photos.

  • We will assess the issue and, if valid, offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our sole discretion.

  • Return shipping will be arranged or reimbursed only if pre-authorized by our team in writing.

We do not accept claims for damage arising from mishandling, washing, or improper use.


4. Refund Process

Refunds (where approved) will be issued only:

  1. After the returned item is received and inspected,

  2. If it complies with all return conditions outlined above.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to processing timelines by your bank or payment provider.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Used or damaged items

  • Unauthorized returns

  • Towels or customized products

  • Items outside the return window


5. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched. Once shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.

7. Legal Jurisdiction

All matters related to this policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
In the event of a dispute, the courts in Kannur, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
