We started The Right Shade with a simple idea — to reimagine the basics.
To take something as everyday as a towel, and make it beautifully functional — designed with intention, made to be used, and built to last.
We're a small, design-led team — part family, part chaos, part obsession — who believe good design should live in the things we use every day.
Around the table
At the heart of our journey is a corner studio space — a quiet IKEA table surrounded by fabric stacks and five years of ideas.
That table has seen everything: quick sketches, design debates, chai-fueled sign-offs. It’s where every product decision is made — not in a boardroom, but with instinct, curiosity, and a deep sense of purpose.
And often, with your voices in the room too — through feedback and thoughtful messages that continue to shape what we make.
